Darin Saley – Marriage & Family Programs

For many years Darin worked in the corporate sector with one of the nation’s largest financial institutions as a manager, trainer, and senior support specialist. After a long and successful career in the “for profit” world, he decided to employ the relationship skills learned from dealing with thousands of customers as a development officer; the job services skills learned as a hiring manager; and communication skills learned as a trainer with an organization whose mission was more philanthropic; one committed to strengthening marriages and families. Over the past decade, Darin has helped thousands of individuals and couples have healthy relationships by doing them God’s way through a variety of relationship education programs.

“I find great personal satisfaction in teaching participants, specifically couples, basic, ‘simple not easy’ communication skills and seeing their relationships transformed by the implementation of these on a daily basis. I feel honored and blessed to be a part of this process.”

Darin comes to us from Live the Life, Inc., a statewide marriage and family ministry, where he was the Director of Marriage Programs. While there, he helped with the oversight and successful implementation of a five year Federal Healthy Marriage Initiative Grant. He has been married for 28 years to the love of his life, Deborah-Lynn and they have four wonderful children: Julia, Tara, David and Stephen. They also have a miniature schnauzer named Myah. Darin is very active in his church and enjoys “picking”, fishing, and “antiquing” with his sons and watching “Disney classics” with his whole family. In addition to teaching thousands of inmates in correctional institutions, sharing communication skills/tools with businesses and employees, leading Bible studies and small groups at church, he has also taught leadership principles to hundreds of students in public and private schools by specifically showing them how to achieve the “Sequence of Success”. As an officer with the bank, he thoroughly enjoyed volunteering time in local elementary schools teaching “low income” students the value and principles of managing money. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Administration from Palm Beach Atlantic University in W. Palm Beach, FL.
